Pain Left Side of Body

Hi am Adrian, a 38 year old male. I have been dealing with "pain" in the left side of my body for the last 3 years. This is a little background of my suffering with this pain. One morning when I was trying to get up from bed, I noticed a pain on the left side of my body around the back of my shoulder, neck, arm and rib cage. It was hard trying to rise my arm above my head or twist. This went on for about 4 days. My first thought was that I had pulled a muscle or something, because of my physical job lifting heavy boxes. The pain would last from the time that I would get up until about 1 or 2pm or by the time my body would warm up by a repetitive movement. After noticing the pain, it would come back every other week until I decided to check with my doctor.




Thinking it was a serious problem, I went to see my doctor and explained my situation but the doctor told me that she had never heard of these symptoms before. We scheduled a follow-up for a month later if the pain persisted. For my own sanity I did a research on the web to see if there was anybody else out there with these symptoms. I got a little relief finding out that I was not the only one with this pain. However the pain did not subside.



One of my conclusions of what was causing this pain was a High Blood Pressure medicine that I was taking at the time. So I dicided to go back to my doctor to explain my theory with no such luck. The doctor said she did not believe it was the medicine causing the pain, but to make me feel better she would order an extensive heart test. I had an EKG, stress and blood tests done and thank God that everything came back Normal. With the good news, my anxiety eased up a little.



All of my tests were done in August, but I could not stop feeling these small pains around my chest area once in a while. Every time I had one of these episodes the thoughts of suffering a "Heart Attack" would rise through my mind. I just want you to know that I was trying to avoid those "two words", but it was impossible.
